Judy J. Chang, Esq.
Judy J. Chang is a California and New York licensed attorney, specializing in the field of U.S. immigration and nationality law. She is also admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Ms. Chang is the Founder and Managing Member of Judy Chang Law Firm, LLC, a bi-costal immigration law firm with offices in New York, NY, Palo Alto, CA, and Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
Having grown up in Seoul, South Korea and Montreal, Canada, Ms. Chang received her B.A. Hon. (Scholar's Electives Program) from the University of Western Ontario and her law degree (LL.B.) from the University of Toronto Law School, where she was a co-director for a legal clinic and represented the rights and interests of immigrants and refugees from many different nations.
Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Chang taught international trade law at Tianjin and Suzhou Universities in China. Before founding Judy Chang Law Firm, Judy practiced U.S. immigration and nationality law at national and global law firms as part of the international transaction team and built an excellent track record of successfully representing a diverse clientele in challenging matters..
Ms. Chang is also a regular media contributor and a frequent guest speaker on a variety of legal issues dealing with foreign businesses and immigrants. She has also served the legal and immigrant community as a Regional Governor of the International Association of Korean Lawyers, Director of Korean American league for Civic Action, and Director of Korean-American Association of San Francisco and Greater Bay Area.
For her success and leadership in her chosen field, Ms. Chang has also received the 2013 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award by the Asian American Business Development Center.
Her practice goal is to provide outstanding services both to her clients and to the community at large.
Tommy T. Kim, Esq.
Tommy Kim is a New Jersey licensed attorney focusing his practice in immigration. Also experienced with real estate, business acquisitions and sales, and contract negotiations, Mr. Kim chooses to practice immigration because he sees the direct impact it brings to people as well as to the greater society.
Mr. Kim earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Boston College and his J.D. Degree from Michigan State University College of Law.
Following his graduation from law school and before practicing law, Mr. Kim elected to pursue a career in sports management motivated by his passion for sports. As a licensed agent he advised and represented athletes in various contract negotiations.
Mr. Kim hopes to use his knowledge and experience in assisting clients navigate the complex immigration system for new and better opportunities.
Reshma Shah Parmar, Esq.
Ms. Parmar is a senior attorney working for J Global Law as Of Counsel. She has 10 years of experience working exclusively in Business Immigration Law. She is experienced in non-immigrant cases (i.e., H-1B, TN, L-1, O-1, B-1/B-2, etc.) and immigrant/green card cases (PERM, NIW, EB1) and has represented both professional individuals and corporate clients working at small and large law firms.
Through her representation efforts, she has been in contact extensively with USCIS, USDOL, USDOS and various sub immigration offices. Yongki Hong, Esq.
Yongki Hong, a New York licensed attorney, is an Of Counsel to our firm. His practice is focused on business immigration.
He was previously the Head Attorney of a US Immigration Department at one of the biggest immigration consulting agencies in the world located in the United Kingdom. Mr. Hong has successfully handled immigration cases for various large foreign corporate clients and individual clients, coming from Europe, Middle East, Asia, Canada, Australia, and South Africa, etc. to USA.
Early on in his career, he received broad training covering criminal law, mental hygiene law, commercial and real estate transactions, and civil matters in addition to immigration law. His experience and knowledge of other areas of law help him make unique and valuable contributions to our clients' immigration cases that often involve issues other than straight immigration goals.
He earned his Bachelor degree in Psychology as a magna cum laude from Adelphi University, and he earned his J.D. degree from Albany Law School.
Kristian K. Larsen, Esq.
A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and Brooklyn Law School, Kristian K. Larsen provides advice and counsel to a diverse array of individuals and corporate business clients. Mr. Larsen's clients have included high net worth individuals, small venture backed start-ups, real estate developers and investment funds and advertising and media companies. In addition to providing clients with corporate and business legal advice, Mr. Larsen's familiarity with each client's particular business model enables him to effectively negotiate their business contracts and zealously litigate when necessary.
He is admitted to practice in the State Courts of New York and New Jersey, the Federal Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. His areas of practice are corporate, real estate, wills, trusts and estates and commercial litigation.
Gregory N. Neff, Esq.
Of counsel to Judy Chang Law Firm, Gregory Neff practices in all areas of Intellectual Property law, but focuses primarily on obtaining patents and trademark registrations and on litigation of patent, trademark and copyright cases. Mr. Neff has successfully handled patent infringement cases in business equipment and other industries, including cases involving industrial and financial software.
He obtained patents and conducted successful patent litigation that have resulted in the upholding of the validity and infringement of the industry-dominating patents in both the television post-production and photo-typesetting fields. In addition to obtaining trademark registrations, Mr. Neff handled successful trademark litigation securing protection for many trademarks, including both famous and less famous marks. He conducted successful trademark and unfair competition litigation under the Paris and Pan American Conventions, and successfully defended companies against trademark infringement claims.
Mr. Neff currently is counseling solar power, software, HVAC, home wares and agricultural chemicals and packaging companies, among others. He also has advised and counseled clients in connection with numerous mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Neff earned his JD from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
He is admitted to the New York State Bar, and is a member of the City Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York Intellectual Property Law Association, the Eastern New York Intellectual Property Association, and the International Trademark Association.
Chris Park, Case Manager
Chris Park holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Choongang University, Seoul and a paralegal certificate from Merritt College, California. Before joining Judy Chang Law Firm, Ms. Park previously worked for large security companies as well as reputable law firms.
Well-versed in all types of immigration matters and the intricate details of the case flow, Ms. Park coordinates legal document production and manages case life cycles for Judy Chang Law Firm. She is fluent in English and Korean.
